Driving the industry forward
We are also proactively driving the integration of location and wireless location forward through our industry leading program, the NAVTEQ Global LBS Challenge™. This annual competition invites application developers around the world to build pioneering location-based services (LBS) using dynamic positioning technology and NAVTEQ maps. Around a third of the finalists from the past six years have gone on to receive venture capital funding or launch commercially-distributed applications.
